Les Femmes LAB
Harnessing the Power of the World's 50%

Les Femmes Lab develops capsules of innovative knowledge-based solutions aimed at systemically and sustainably solving dire development challenges faced by African women. We deliver our solutions through the following three pathways:
Immersive Learning Programs
Insight Generation
& Innovation
Investment Facilitation
Our sphere of focus comprises access to sustainable finance, access to business and leadership capabilities, energy poverty, property rights and agricultural productivity, climate change, and the digital divide.
OUR CAPSULES

DATA SHOPPE
We leverage applied research methods and data analytics to generate insights on women against the backdrop of African markets, societies, politics, and global development. Applied research also forms the bedrock of our design, investment & impact programs.

MIND SHOPPE
We excavate the stories and experiences of gutsy African women, drawing from them as models for thriving in leadership, lifestyle, career, and change-making. The dialogues are curated as mini masterclasses plus exposes on navigating African landscapes.

CAPITAL SHOPPE
We are exploring pipelines and tools that will provide cohorts of female entrepreneurs with access to investor-readiness capabilities and financing from inclusive capital allocators.
The capital shop also provides a "marketplace" for both groups.

IMMERSION SHOPPE
Gaming and simulation are gaining traction as viable mechanisms for achieving shifts in knowledge, values, beliefs, and norms that can catalyze some sustainable development outcomes.
We are developing tabletop and digital games aimed at enhancing players' sociopolitical, economic & cultural awareness of gendered issues through dialogue, knowledge sharing, and intuitive skills building.
